MY ROLE: UX Designer
Challenge: The majority of the farmers in India own a small plot of land. This app provides farmers to register their land and gather information about their terrain conditions for a large company to keep track of. The farmers are busy, so they need something quick to use, intuitive, and easy to use while in the field.
Design Solutions:
Tab bar using icons navigation to allow rapid switching between features. It is the most effective way to grab the user’s attention and use it for visual interest . Blue of the icon indicate where they are at a glace in the app. User could manual put in the information on the input text field OR click on the Get Village to have the system automatic fill the text input filed by using a GIS.
Action button are located at the bottom once user are done filling out the required information.
For Location, user could tab on the location icon to have the system automatic place in the latitude and longitude. A total of 4 locations (or endpoints) are need to define the dimension of the land.
