MY ROLE: Visual Designer

 

Objective: Redesigning the Vistex Endeavor page on the Vistex website.

Challenge: The Endeavor webpage is under the umbrella of Vistex. Endeavor wanted to stand out from the rest of the website to help promote their new brand called Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). There are four messages that Endeavor wanted to convey: Employee Engagement, Supporting Communities, Social Innovations, and Sustainability.


 

Design Option 1: The design allows Endeavor main four messages to be above the fold of common screen height. Content layout and placement is important because content that appears above the fold is what is first visible when the user loads the page. It is the prime real estate that gets most of the attention from users. User click on the tab to view the content within it and the user stay within the webpage without having to scroll down or go to another page.

Design Option 2: User click the color section of the 4 main messages and a pop-up windows come out to with an images the covers the full screen. User is still above the fold but this allows more content and images to draw user into each section that Vistex is involved in.

 

Design Option 3: Endeavor wanted to have images that are in-house and layout to be the same as Vistex training page. The website was built on WordPress. Endeavor wanted to see how it would look using the training page layout.

Final Design Selection: Option 2 was selected because it allows for more flexibility since content was still being develop.
